S. Atwell SHELL, 76, of Waveland, died at 11:55 Saturday Nov
30 at the Rockville Sanatorium. He had been in failing health for
several years, his condition becoming serious 3 weeks ago. Mr.
Shell was a son of Samuel and Mary Morgan Shell and was born at
Attica Sept 25, 1881. He was married June 9, 1907 to Mary
Carleton who survives with one brother, George Shell of Kingman.
Two daughters, two sons, four sisters and four brothers preceded
Mr. Shell in death. He was a member of the Raccoon Methodist
Church and Modern Woodmen. Funeral services were held at the
Waveland Methodist Church on Tuesday, Dec 3 with Noble Reeves in
charge of services, Rev CN McBrayer and Rev. Lowell Morris
officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville. - typed by kbz
